The walked dog is quickly talked
For the fenced dog has but a short window
Of time,
In which to discover the other:

How’s your master?
Where’s your home tree?
Do you have a favorite kind of cat?

The walked dog is quickly stalked
For the savvy cat sees his rare window
Of opportunity,
In which to torment the other:

Can’t you go faster?
How do you like that leash?
Now who plays the rat?

Speed barking,
Reverse stalking,
The walked dog gets all of that.
